Tech Support Specialist (Santa Clara, CA)

We are looking for a technical support specialist to join our California office. If you love communicating, helping people, and performing small technical miracles – you’re going to like it here!

Job scope:

  • Providing technical support to Artec 3D clients and partners via email (CRM Zendesk), phone, and remote sessions
  • Performing basic-level testing of 3D scanning equipment
  • Scanning objects with 3D scanners
  • Participating in Artec webinars
  • Creating content for the Artec Support Center
  • Traveling to events (conferences, trade shows, training sessions, etc.) as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience working in support and/or technical training, and/or good technical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Great team player
  • Attention to detail and a sense of humor

Preferred:

  • AA or BA in engineering/computer science, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with CAD (SOLIDWORKS, 3D Systems’ Design X, Autodesk suite, CATIA, etc.)
  • Background in 3D modeling, including preparing models for 3D printing
