Yes, this is one of those dandy not-so-little devices that no one wants to hear their mechanic talking about, especially not while he’s rubbing his hands together and has a certain little gleam in his eye. This Volvo I-Shift dual-clutch gearbox designed for heavy trucks was scanned with Artec Leo. Industrial objects such as this generally have many hard-to-reach surfaces that often prove challenging to scan and fully capture. However, Leo’s large field of view and extended working distance make the process quite straightforward.
