It's not easy to keep your fingers apart for a long time, so the scanning needed to be done as quickly as possible. A tablet and the Artec battery pack came in useful here in this scan which was completed, processed, and ready to go in a span of less than 5 minutes total.

As is obvious in the 3D model, although the surfaces and contours are very well done, in such a brief period of time, to obtain the ultimate in extreme resolution scanning, for plastic surgery or similarly demanding applications, users should consider our handheld 3D scanner Space Spider.
