Artec 3D scanners to be showcased at the 14th annual Koblenz Technology Night

| August-Horch-Straße 6-8, 56070 Koblenz, Germany (Koblenz, Germany)

Every November, the Koblenz Chamber of Crafts, together in partnership with industry and science, organizes Koblenz Technology Night. This year there will be a variety of interesting demonstrations, shows, lectures, and hands-on activities to take part in, with many representatives, experts, and researchers from high-tech companies and organizations in attendance, among others. Find out about the latest in technology and scientific developments across multiple industries. With this year’s focuses on space and astronomy, as well as autonomous driving, high-performance materials, and 3D printing, there will be something there for everyone.

Also at the event will be Artec Gold-Certified Reseller and Ambassador KLIB, who will be there for the evening, demoing three of Artec’s professional 3D scanners: Artec Leo, Space Spider, and Ray. The specialists at KLIB have in-depth experience with 3D scanning and allied technologies throughout a variety of industries and applications. Regardless of your project or special requirements, KLIB can offer you solutions and ideas for significantly reducing your overhead costs, while slashing production times and boosting accuracy along with final results.

KLIB's Knut Lehmann will be giving a speech titled, “Einsatz von 3D-Scannern im Handwerk und in der Industrie“ (Using 3D scanners in craft and industry) at 6:15 pm in room 1.37.

One of the newest members of the Artec scanner family is the innovative Artec Leo. This groundbreaking 3D scanner has been raising the bar for handheld scanners everywhere, with its much-talked-about ergonomic design, ease of use, and wealth of intuitive features. Entirely cable-free, with an inbuilt touch screen and internal battery, Leo hands you the freedom to 3D scan wherever your project takes you, near or far. Use Leo to quickly and easily capture 3D data for a broad range of applications, including reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, healthcare, arts and science, and more.

KLIB will also be demonstrating the ins and outs of the Artec Space Spider. This professional 3D scanning solution was designed from the ground up for capturing small objects, as well as any objects with intricate details and complex geometries. Space Spider boasts an accuracy of up to 0.05 mm, and doesn’t require you to use targets. Used for years as a go-to tool in industries such as CGI, art and design, forensics, manufacturing, digital dentistry, orthotics & prosthetics, and beyond, Space Spider is one scanner you simply need to try out for yourself.

And if you’re interested in 3D scanning large, even huge objects, you’ll need to look no further than the Artec Ray, a tripod-mounted 3D laser scanner that digitally captures objects such as planes, buildings, and even entire factory floors with ease. This professional laser scanner scans with submillimeter precision, and is an ideal solution for reverse engineering and quality inspection. In only minutes, you can set up Ray and start performing a 360-degree scan at up to 110m from the object. With highly clean data and fast scanning speeds, Ray delivers brilliant, high-resolution 3D scans that will save you many hours of work and open up an avenue of new possibilities for technical projects.

All of Artec’s 3D scanners are integrated with today’s best CAD and CAM software, including the versatile Geomagic Freeform. Ask KLIB about available bundles and find out how Artec’s 3D scanning solutions can help you accelerate and enhance all of your workflows.
