Digitizing this huge truck with Artec Leo & Ray II, using the highest resolution data from each device, was quick, easy, and yielded an incredibly detailed full-color simulation model.

An exhaustive, high-res 3D model of a piping system scanned with Artec Ray II and Leo. The intertwined pipes and intricate piping components are captured with the utmost precision in this realistic digital twin ready to be used in industrial design, engineering, and manufacturing applications.

Air rescue helicopter • Combo

This impressive 3D model of an air rescue helicopter is the result of an epic scanning project using the combined might of two Luxembourgish companies: Luxembourg Air Rescue and Artec 3D, featuring Artec Ray and Artec Leo.

Blast furnace gas engine • Combo

Hands down, this 1940s blast furnace gas engine is the largest object we’ve ever scanned here at Artec, and probably one of the biggest industrial structures ever captured in 3D with such a fine level of detail and accuracy.

Michel Rodange monument • Combo

This tall statue in central Luxembourg, which commemorates one of the most famous local writers, was easily captured using a synergy of the wireless handheld 3D scanner Artec Leo and the tripod-mounted laser scanner Artec Ray.

Goddess of Mercy statue • Ray

A well-visited statue commemorating Guanyin, Goddess of Mercy was scheduled to be moved from its home in Shenzhen, China, and it needed to be preserved in case it was destroyed, damaged, or forgotten.

Airplane with texture • Ray

The texture of this 3D model of a Klemm L25d VIIR LX-MA airplane was created using the BPR render settings in Sketchfab. We used three main settings: specular, color and glossiness.

Airplane without texture • Ray

This Klemm L25d VIIR LX-MA airplane is an exhibit at the Aviation Museum in Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxeumbourg. Artec Ray was placed in 26 different positions around the airplane to make a complete 3D model.

Smart car • Ray

The complete model of this Smart car was created from approximately 10-13 scans taken from various positions around all sides of the vehicle. We also took two scans from below, with the car raised on a car lifter.
