South Korean delegation visits Luxembourg, talks AI innovation with Artec 3D

Global 3D scanning leader Artec 3D has met a South Korean business delegation in Luxembourg to discuss potential opportunities in AI, cybersecurity, automotive & more.
As part of an event organized by IBK Bank and Luxembourg’s Chamber of Commerce, 17 innovative South Korean firms were invited to exhibit their latest technologies. Pitches included everything from hydrogen-propelled e-bikes to AI-powered research platforms.

But this wasn’t just a showcase – the event was set up to “Bridge Korea & Luxembourg with AI,” share best practices in emerging fields, and bring international partners together. Ranked the world’s 10th largest economy, South Korea has strong synergies with forward-looking industries in Luxembourg, and the visit was squarely focused on fresh opportunities in evolving markets.
As something of an AI trailblazer itself in the field of 3D scanning, Artec 3D was the perfect project collaborator. The company held fruitful discussions with these business leaders – and even offered them a tour of its cutting-edge production facility in Senningerberg.

“We’re delighted to have hosted such an innovative delegation at our production facility here in Luxembourg,” said Art Yukhin, CEO & President of Artec 3D. “South Korea is a very important market for us – we’ve operated there for some time, across many industries. We’re always open to pursuing new opportunities with emerging players in Korea’s dynamic business environment.”
During their visit, the South Korean delegation were given a personal tour around Artec 3D’s facilities, including its ISO-certified cleanrooms, led by CEO Art Yukhin. Once they had a better idea of how Artec 3D scanning works, they were offered real-time demos of the technology.

All the company’s products, ranging from the small-object Artec Micro II 3D scanner to the long-range Artec Ray II, were on display. Visitors also got hands-on with Artec Leo, the world’s first wireless, AI-powered 3D scanner. Interestingly, they already had a firm grasp of the technology, with it being so popular in Korea – and immediately saw its potential for future use cases.
Artec 3D is proud to have such close South Korean partners. Having connected with some of the country’s biggest innovators, the company now aims to continue broadening its reach and exploring new opportunities for its technology in a diverse, fast-moving marketplace.
