Artec 3D partners with InnovMetric to strengthen inspection offering

Luxembourg-based 3D scanning pioneer Artec 3D is delighted to announce a global partnership with metrology software development company InnovMetric.
By merging expertise, the leaders in 3D data capture and industrial metrology will deliver a broader toolset to Artec 3D scanner users. Building on the powerful inspection suite already included in Artec Studio, the two companies’ combined offering will unlock new opportunities for professionals tackling complex tasks.
The first phase of this partnership will focus on integrating the industry-leading software PolyWorks|Inspector™ into Artec 3D’s product ecosystem, an initiative aligned with the company’s commitment to continuously bring new solutions to its customers and partners around the world.
“We continue to strengthen our offering in the lucrative quality control and metrology markets, and our agreement with InnovMetric is another solid step in this direction,” says Art Yukhin, President and CEO of Artec 3D. “We’re excited about the prospects of this collaboration, which will see even more advanced tools being made available to our customers worldwide.”
“Our partnership with Artec 3D marks another significant step toward making advanced 3D metrology more accessible and efficient for manufacturers worldwide. By seamlessly integrating PolyWorks with Artec 3D’s professional scanners, we provide a unified, high-performance solution that accelerates the journey from measurement to actionable insight. This streamlined workflow is key to helping our customers achieve new levels of product quality and operational excellence,” says David Bergeron, Chief Revenue Officer at InnovMetric.
Powered by PtB-certified algorithms, PolyWorks|Inspector streamlines the extraction of actionable insights from captured 3D data. Its advanced GD&T tools, built according to the latest ISO and ASME standards, enable fast, precise measurement, analysis, and tolerance verification.
With PolyWorks|Inspector, users can carry out complete dimensional analyses by comparing scans to CAD models to identify deviations. The software platform excels at diagnosing and resolving manufacturing issues—whether uncovering design flaws, monitoring wear, or ensuring products meet stringent standards. Detailed reports tailored to real industry needs then make it easy to translate inspection results into actionable insights, empowering fast and informed decision-making.
PolyWorks|Inspector’s built-in macro scripts, along with measurement, sequence creation, and editing tools for advanced workflows, provide a level of automation that enhances consistency and saves time with repetitive tasks. The software platform’s robust functionalities will seamlessly complement the analytical capabilities already built into Artec Studio, enabling users of Artec 3D’s ultra-fast portable scanners to achieve greater efficiency in quality control.
