Artec 3D welcomes industry leaders to Advisory Board

Artec 3D, a global 3D scanning leader headquartered in Luxembourg, is pleased to announce the formation of an Advisory Board, alongside its first two distinguished members: metrology expert Duncan Redgewell and experienced diplomat Gaston Stronck.
As the company continues to expand its global footprint and deepen its impact across industries, its Advisory Board will play a crucial role in guiding strategic decisions, accelerating product innovation, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Establishing an Advisory Board is also viewed as an important step toward furthering Artec 3D’s long-term vision. The independent, high-level perspectives of board members are expected to help steer key aspects of its strategic direction, as well as enhancing corporate governance.
Artec 3D is honored to welcome Duncan Redgewell and Gaston Stronck, two outstanding professionals, as the first members of its Advisory Board.
Duncan Redgewell
A pioneer in the field of portable metrology, Duncan brings over 30 years of experience in industrial measurement and manufacturing intelligence. As former President of Metrology Devices at Hexagon MI, he played a key role in transforming the company’s laser tracker division into its most profitable and fastest-growing unit. Under his leadership, Hexagon set new industry benchmarks through innovation, strategic acquisitions, and product development. Today, Duncan continues to support technological advancement as an advisor and board member across several leading companies in the sector.
Gaston Stronck
Gaston has had a distinguished career spanning diplomacy, public policymaking, and the promotion of innovative manufacturing technologies. Since starting to serve as Advisor to Artec 3D’s CEO in 2022, he has brought invaluable insight to aid the company’s international expansion, public funding initiatives, and institutional partnerships—especially within Luxembourg’s thriving innovation ecosystem.
Gaston has advised multiple deep-tech startups, helped launch accelerator programs, and promoted investment-driven collaboration between the public and private sectors. His previous roles include serving as Luxembourg’s Ambassador to the United States, Russia, India, Denmark, and the EU Political and Security Committee, as well as Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
