Artec is successfully developing cooperation with the world’s major CAD & CAM solution providers and today we are happy to announce that Artec has upgraded its SOLIDWORKS partnership status from Research Associate to Solution Partner.
Started in 1993, the SOLIDWORKS team develops 3D simulation, visualization and data management products used by some 3 mln designers and engineers worldwide, representing 220,000 organizations. SOLIDWORKS Partner Products help customers bring innovative, quality solutions to market more efficiently and cost-effectively.
Artec Spider is our first product featured in the Partner Products program. The world’s #1 web portal for mechanical computer aided design, MCADCafé, named this high-precision 3D scanner the best hardware showcased at SOLIDWORKS World 2015, which is the annual conference for the SOLIDWORKS community.
Artec will be bringing its next-generation 3D scanner, Space Spider, to SOLIDWORKS World 2016 to run in Dallas, TX from January 31 to February 3. Space Spider was developed for the International Space Station to capture the surfaces of objects with complex geometry in minute detail. Requiring virtually no preparation before use, this metrological tool features a smart temperature control system and upgraded electronics to ensure longest-term repeatability in data capture regardless of possible fluctuations in ambient temperatures.
