An interactive webinar: Get photorealistic texture for your 3D scan data
What: How to combine scan data and photogrammetry data for photorealistic texture
When: Nov. 18, 2021, 4 pm (JST) and 5 pm (CET)
As essential as your 3D scanner is, the real power of Artec technology lies in the software. And when it comes to our software, we’ve got exciting new features we’d love to tell you all about. Join our webinar “How to combine scan data and photogrammetry data for photorealistic texture” on Nov. 18 to explore the latest iteration of Artec Studio and its brand new photogrammetry tool. The webinar is aimed at both beginners and seasoned Artec Studio users, or simply anyone looking to create hyper-realistic 3D models to be used in CGI, VR/AR, animation, design, heritage preservation, manufacturing, and forensics.
With Artec 3D’s photogrammetry tool available in Artec Studio 16, you can easily get even better texture for high-res 3D models. Simply take photos around your scanned object using either your mobile phone or a professional camera and upload them directly to Artec Studio 16. Your next step is to build and map texture onto the mesh created from scanning with Artec 3D scanners Leo, Eva, Micro, or Space Spider. This means everything that once required third-party photogrammetry software can now be done in one place, providing you with an amazingly efficient workflow.
This webinar will feature practical examples and specific scanning cases across different applications, along with a thorough demo of how the photogrammetry tool works when using objects of different sizes, or in various light conditions. The entire workflow will be outlined for you in a comprehensive sequence of actions with lots of handy how-tos and in-depth exploration of the algorithm along the way. With scanning and photographing techniques thoroughly explained, you will be armed to the teeth when it comes to processing and texturing. Eventually, the final result of the demo project will be presented, followed by a Q&A session – the perfect space for you to ask about any remaining questions.
The annual update of Artec Studio has brought major improvements for professional 3D scanning and data processing. To get the hang of one of the most transformative features, save the date and register! You won’t want to miss this webinar if your goal is getting a photorealistic 3D model with best-quality texture and accurate geometry.
Sign up here and save your virtual seat – whether or not you can make it, register anyway to receive a recording of the webinar when it’s over.
Or, if you happen to be in the area, the 5 pm CET session will be streamed live from the Artec 3D booth at the legendary Formnext expo in Frankfurt. Come by our stand for a first-hand experience!
