How Artec 3D is supporting Ukraine

Try out Artec new 3D scanning technology together with Antonius Köster

| Messe Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany (Stuttgart, Germany)

The international trade fair for tool, pattern and mould making Moulding Expo, which takes place every two years in Stuttgart, puts the main focus on classic and customized tool and mould making, as well as plastics technology and metalworking. This year, Artec’s Certified Partner Antonius Köster GmbH & Co. KG will demo Artec 3D handheld scanners Eva and Space Spider along with Artec Studio 12 3D software.

Artec’s portable scanners are used by engineers and designers to quickly capture the geometry and texture of a variety of objects in fine detail. The resulting 3D mesh models can then be printed out or exported into Geomagic Design X and SOLIDWORKS at the click of a button directly from Artec Studio 12 3D data processing and editing software. Modified and tested in reverse engineering and CAD environments, solid 3D models are then manufactured and put to use to improve the performance of existing machines and systems.

Artec Studio 12 is the latest version of the industry acclaimed software for advanced 3D scanning and data processing in which many operations have been streamlined to save the user’s time. At the Moulding Expo, you’ll be able to check out the new automatic base removal tool, which allows you to instantly eliminate the table or floor the object was scanned on, even if it’s a curved surface. Artec Studio 12 features new smart memory management, which optimizes the use of RAM. Storage is also much easier, offering a new mode of project compression for ultra-compact data storage, freeing up valuable memory. If you scan black, shiny or thin objects with Artec Eva, you’ll appreciate the automatic adjustment of sensitivity settings for getting the best results. Meet Antonius Köster at the expo to experience the great enhancements in Artec 3D scanning technology.
