3D scanning devotees from Digital Scan 3D, who have recently launched a Shapify Booth in Portland, Oregon, will be taking Artec handheld scanners to the longest-running show that Artec products have been exhibited at so far, the 122nd annual conference and expo of the American Society for Engineering Education, the only event of its kind dedicated to all disciplines of engineering education. The ASEE conference and expo will host over 400 technical sessions, expected to be attended by deans, faculty and researchers, students, and industry representatives.
The exhibition floor will be worth checking out, not least for Artec 3D scanners of course. Eva and Spider will be showcased along with the new version of our professional software, Artec Studio 10, which has a range of new powerful features, such as automatic continuous scanning and tracking alignment boost, to ensure the smoothest scanning experience at an unprecedented speed. To promote the use of state-of-the-art 3D scanning solutions in education and research, Artec has extended a special offer to all schools, colleges and universities using an older version of the software and/or an Artec scanner – they can upgrade to Artec Studio 10 at no cost, and those of them that use Artec Studio to work with sensors are offered a discount on the upgrade.
