IFRS Manager (Luxembourg)

We are looking for an experienced IFRS manager to join our team in Luxembourg.

Job scope:

• Providing assistance in accurate, timely, and consistent preparation of IFRS financial statements
• Participating in group closing and consolidation operations including those pertaining to the intercompany reconciliation process
• Performing quality reviews of reporting packages provided by subsidiaries
• Supporting in-house accounting teams to ensure compliance with IFRS and group reporting requirements
• Facilitating transition from local GAAPs to IFRS
• Participating in the development of group IFRS policies and implementation of new IFRS standards
• Preparing quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in full compliance with IFRS
• Responding to queries about financial data, providing explanations and documentation to internal stakeholders
• Interacting with group and local audit teams to fulfill audit requirements and ensure deadlines are met
• Assisting with the implementation and fine-tuning of accounting and/or reporting workflows, policies, procedures, and systems to strengthen quality framework and financial awareness within the company
• Managing and/or supporting implementation projects by identifying, developing, and putting in place various business solutions
• Participating in the deployment of the ERP system
• Performing other tasks assigned by CFO

Requirements:

• A degree in economics, finance, or accounting
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance
• Minimum 2 years of experience in people management
• Background in management accounting and financial analysis
• Experience using consolidation software
• ACCA membership will be a plus
