Ring
This tiny item, reconstructed with an astonishing amount of detail using Artec Studio AI Photogrammetry, is a classic example of small, reflective jewelry, one of the hardest objects to bring into 3D. A polished metal band bounces light in every direction, gemstones refract and sparkle unpredictably, and the object itself is so small that even minor errors become obvious up close. On top of that, this ring carries a hidden engraving on its inner band, the kind of fine detail that’s easy for photo-based reconstruction to blur or lose entirely.
AI Photogrammetry in Artec Studio worked through all of it using nothing but a series of photographs, piecing together a model that keeps the engraved lettering fully legible, the worn texture of the aged metal intact, and the gemstone’s faceted sparkle looking convincingly real rather than flattened or glassy.
Rotate the model to read the inscription for yourself, or zoom in on the setting to see how naturally the light plays across each facet. The resulting digital twin is ready for applications ranging from design and CGI to heritage preservation—all created with a workflow that makes high-quality digitization more accessible than ever.
