Even for advanced 3D scanners, this houseplant would be tricky to capture. Just look at those complex organic shapes and textures! Other factors like scale, lighting, and micro-movements also come into play, theoretically making this a very difficult-to-digitize household item.

Yet, this proved no problem for AI Photogrammetry. It took just one minute to capture a video of the plant from all the necessary angles and upload the data to Artec Studio. From there, it was simply a case of adjusting the cropping box and reconstructing the object in a digital format.

As you can see, the resulting model is fantastically detailed. Each ridge is rendered perfectly on every individual leaf. The plant has also been faithfully recreated in full color, reflecting Artec Studio’s outstanding texture capture capabilities. Overall, given its complexity, this model is a great showcase of what’s now possible with cutting-edge photogrammetry.
