Changes of technical specs for Eva

Artec is officially changing a couple of key technical specifications for Eva, Artec's flagship 3D scanner. The two specs that are being changed are "points captured per second" and "accuracy over distance".

Great Britain officials decided to celebrate the Summer Olympics with a dozen of large-scale projects representing arts of different regions of the country. One of these projects is a 6 meter high puppet of Lady Godiva who is considered as the symbol of Coventry. Artec scanners were used during the creation of this gigantic puppet.

Today the Artec 3D scanner and an ordinary milling machine enable anyone to feel like Alice through the looking glass and, for example, play chess with giant pieces several times larger than a human being.
