Artec on BBC's Click

BBC Click’s presenter Spencer Kelly gets a 3D color print of his own head at Ravensbourne College’s rapid prototyping lab in London.

Ravensbourne is a university sector college of 1400 students and 140 members of permanent staff. Innovating in digital media and design, with a vocationally focused portfolio of courses, spanning fashion, television and broadcasting, interactive product design, architecture and environment design, graphic design, animation, moving image, music production for media and sound design. The college recently moved into a new building which has been marked as an «icon of design for London» by winning the «RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) award for London 2011». Artec’s official reseller in the UK, Patrick Thorn & Co recommended an Artec MHT scanner for their prototyping lab, when the College asked for a way to attain quality 3D data with texture.
